Tilcon NY is working on a streetscape project, South Main Street, for the Town of Clarkstown in New City, NY which began in 2009 and will be completed in 2010.

The project, South Main Street Improvements-Phase 1, involves the reconstruction of approximately 1/2 mile of South Main Street in New City, NY. Tilcon will be installing new drainage, road subbase and asphalt pavement (6,000 Tons), street lighting, granite curbs, colored concrete sidewalks, street trees with customized tree grates, site amenities including benches, bike racks, trash receptacles and a bus shelter.

This project also includes the reconstruction of a park along South Main Street to include new walks, landscape plantings, stone walls, a decorative fountain, gazebo, street clock, bus shelter and Firemen's Memorial.

The total value of the project is $6,783,000.
