NAPA, National Asphalt Paving Association, offers a number of awards annually that recognize excellence in asphalt manufacturing, product quality and construction. Only the very best plants and construction work across the country is recognized by these prestigious awards.
Tilcon is delighted to annouce that the following asphalt plants, construction projects and construction crews have been recognized as NAPA award winners for 2011 for outstanding product quality and construction work.
The Diamond Achievement Commendation focuses on the need for asphalt plants to be good neighbors and to have environmentally sound practices. Areas evaluated include Quality Management, RAP and Aggregate Handling, Asphalt Storage, Drying and Mixing, Air Quality, Truck Scales, Silos, and Control Rooms.
