Tilcon wins a National Asphalt Pavement Association award for an innovative fall protection system in the Safety Innovation category.

Tilcon New Jersey worked with Fall Protection Systems Corporation to re-engineer an innovative safety device which provides fall protection in quarries and asphalt facilities.

Tilcon is the first aggregate and asphalt facility in the US to use this type of 'telescoping possum' design. The Fall Protection System was developed to protect employees when working in situations where there was no suitable tie off.
