This project, for the NJ DOT, involved laying 29,000 tons of asphalt and was completed in July 2009.
Rt. 80 is a major east-west highway and the project focussed on a section from Woodland Park to Wayne, NJ. The existing roadway was milled 3" down to concrete and the surface replaced with 3" 12H76.
Overall the project achived excellent compaction and rideability results and was the recipient of a 2009 NAPA Quality in Construction Award.
