Placing Orders

as soon as you know your job requirements. All calls are recorded for verification and customer service purposes.

Stone and Asphalt Orders

Orders should be placed by 12 noon the prior day to assure product availability and service. Asphalt orders in excess of 1,000 tons should be placed 48 hours in advance.

When placing an order please have the following information available:

1. Delivery date
2. Customer code
3. Project number and P.O. number
4. Indicate F.O.B. plant or delivery required
5. Indicate if needed: Union Drivers, Rain or shine, Will Call
6. Delivery address and cross street
7. Phone # and point of contact
8. Material required
9. Tons required
10. Delivery time, truck type

 Add On Orders

Customers will agree to a maximum quantity at time of order, any substantial amount over the maximum quantity may not be deliverable.  

Cancellation

Order cancellations must be made a minimum of two hours prior to delivery time.  

Will Call Orders

Will call orders must be confirmed by 3pm the prior day to assure service, any order unconfirmed two hours prior to delivery will be deactivated and trucks will not be scheduled. The order will then be taken as a new order if called in and scheduled for the following day’s delivery. No will call orders will be accepted for Saturday or Night delivery.

Partial Load Charges

All delivery charges will be based on max truck capacity; delivery of partial loads will be based on truck availability for the day requested.

Off Hour Deliveries

Tilcon NY encourages off-hour deliveries. Off hour deliveries are available from many of our locations in New York and New Jersey.  Contact our central Order Department for information on plant availability at night or weekends.

Excessive Unloading Time

Unloading charges will be charged at the market rate after fifteen minutes on job.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, check and all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Discover card.

Homeowners / COD Deliveries

Tilcon New York will make deliveries of stone to private homes if/when equipment is available. Tilcon New York is not responsible for damage to private property if/when off road delivery is requested. Off road deliveries will only be made at the discretion of the driver.  
 
Things to consider prior to ordering material to be delivered to you home:

1. Overhead wires
2. Guide wires
3. Phone wirers
4. Tree branches
5. Septic tank
6. Soft ground

Material will be delivered to a safe location on your site. Tilcon will not spread or tailgate material.

Payment must me made in advance with a major credit card.

Referrals will be made to local paving contractors for asphalt delivery and placement.
